Jennifer Lawrence is back and better than ever these days as the Academy Award-winning actress is earning rave reviews for her performance in the new R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings.
Making tons of recent public appearances to promote the film, Lawrence was spotted in New York City wearing a stunning deep-cut blazer just days ahead of the film’s official release in movie theaters on Friday, June 23.

During her recent press tour, Lawrence revealed that while she’s been asked to star in comedy movies “a million times”, she never did because she doesn’t think that many actually funny movies get made anymore.
“I was never against it, but you’ve seen the movies that come out. I don’t want to name anything specifically, but there hasn’t been anything that funny,” Lawrence said while speaking to Cameron Diaz, who is also launching a comeback, for Interview Magazine.
Currently boasting a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, early reviews of No Hard Feelings indicate that the movie has a hilarious birthday suit fight scene that’s reminiscent of the Viggo Mortensen film Eastern Promises, which perhaps partially explains why the film is Rated R.
In addition to the Oscar-winning J. Law, No Hard Feelings — helmed by Gene Stupnitsky, who also directed the similarly successful 2019 comedy Good Boys — stars Andrew Barth Feldman, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick.
No Hard Feelings marks Lawrence’s third starring role since 2021, as she’s also appeared in Don’t Look Up and Causeway. Prior to that, Lawrence had taken a couple of years off from acting following the birth of her first child, a son named Cy that she had with husband Cooke Maroney.
