Given the insane amount of press she’s been doing in recent weeks, you’ve likely heard by now that Jennifer Lawrence has a new R-rated comedy titled No Hard Feelings now playing in theaters.
Furthermore, you’ve likely been made aware of the fact that Lawrence has a show-stopping scene that sees her pull off a beach-set fight scene wearing nothing but her birthday suit.
Lawrence wasn’t the only No Hard Feelings star to bear all, though, as her co-star Andrew Barth Feldman also had a scene that required a lack of clothes.
During a recent joint interview, the pair recalled that day on set and revealed they used the time in between takes to shop for furniture.
“My favorite memory from that was while we were shooting that scene, I was helping him buy furniture for his apartment. And so he was n*** and in between we were just, like, on Etsy,” Lawrence told Access Hollywood.
Feldman agreed with Lawrence’s assessment of the day, saying: “It was also just a day of us hanging out.”
Despite some doubts from her team and those around her, Lawrence claims she never had any second thoughts about the film’s much-talked-about birthday suit scene, which sees her in a full-blown fight with a group of college-aged kids.
“Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?’ I didn’t even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me,” Lawrence told Variety.
Currently, the Lawrence-led film has made just under $55 million at the box office and is on track to becoming the highest-grossing original R-rated studio comedy since 2019’s Good Boys, which was also directed by Gene Stupnitsky.
Released on Friday, June 23, No Hard Feelings is now playing in movie theaters across the United States. In addition to Lawrence and Feldman, No Hard Feelings also stars Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick.
