Ben Affleck’s marriage to Jennifer Lopez is going down in flames, with a litany of unnamed sources running to the media to bad mouth the duo.
According to a recent report, everyone in Jennifer Lopez’s inner circle does not like Ben Affleck and thinks he’s an a——.
Affleck and Lopez are amid a long-gestating divorce that’s been widely reported on all year, particularly in recent months as the couple have not been seen together, are no longer wearing their wedding rings, and have each made significant moves in the real estate market.
“The two of them can’t stand each other. They don’t get along and there’s still bad blood,” a source told the New York Post’s Page Six about Affleck’s relationship with Lopez’s manager Benny Medina.
Another source also added that “No one, except [Lopez’s] mother, likes Ben Affleck. He’s a triple-A a–hole.”
Reports have indicated that the pair’s marriage, which became official in July 2022, has been a “fever dream” that Affleck is now waking up from. As a result of their marriage falling apart so quickly, Lopez reportedly feels furious at and humiliated by Affleck.
Despite the disillusion of their romantic relationship, Affleck and Lopez remain linked professionally as her next movie Unstoppable — a biopic about one-legged NCAA champion wrestler Anthony Robles that’s premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in September — was produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity
Artists Equity, which Affleck co-founded with his longtime friend Matt Damon, is also producing Lopez’s other upcoming movie Kiss of the Spider Woman.
The pending divorce between Affleck and J-Lo has also resulted in some conspiracy theories, as incarcerated rapper and producer Suge Knight recently claimed that Affleck wants out of the marriage because the FBI showed him explicit videos of Lopez that they found while raiding her ex-boyfriend Diddy’s home earlier this year.
Neither Affleck nor Lopez, who famously first dated each other in the early 2000s before rekindling their relationship a few years ago, have publicly addressed the reports about their divorce.
