Just when we thought Jeopardy couldn’t get any better with James Holzhauer avenging his loss to Emma Boettcher last week during the Tournament of Champions, the game show gods have blessed us yet again and this time they’ve honestly outdone themselves.

On Monday afternoon, ABC announced a special Jeopardy event called ‘Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time’ that will feature the top three competitors in the show’s history as James Holzhauer, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter will square off for greatest of all-time bragging rights.

The three greatest trivia question game show contestants of all-time on one stage is what dreams are made of. Grandparents, plus just regular cool adults everywhere, need to make plans to tune in on January 7th to witness history.

These three guys have won a combined $10,771,352 on Jeopardy.

Holzhauer is fresh off of winning $250,000 at the Tournament of Champions. He holds the Top 15 records in the single-day winnings record book and has won $2,712,216 from the show.

Rutter is probably the lesser-known of the three competitors, but shouldn’t be overlooked, because he’s actually the GOAT when you look at the numbers. He’s the most winningest person in the history of television game shows bringing in $4,688,436 from Jeopardy. He’s never lost to a human, only the IBM robot Watson.

Last but not least, Jennings won 74 straight games of Jeopardy, which is the longest winning streak in show history, in which he brought in $3,370,700.

If you don’t get excited about the fact Alex Trebek will be hosting an event featuring three of the greatest brains in trivia game history then you may need some help.

The three will be battling for $1 million.
