In season two of Jessica Jones, Jessica is right back where she prefers to be: alone with no other superheroes in sight.
This go-round sees Jessica trying to unravel the mysteries of her past, how she got her powers, who was involved, and are there more like her?
The trailer doesn’t specifically address who her new nemesis will be in season two, but it does drop a plethora of little tidbits guaranteed to pique the interest of fans of the show.
For instance, Jessica’s adopted sister Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) has continued to hone her fighting skills, even going so far as to suggest Jessica needs a sidekick. (If you want to know what that might mean, click here.)
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormentor, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
However, as you will see in the trailer below, Kilgrave, while not the big bad in season two, will still have his presence felt at some point along the way.
