Joe Rogan is not happy with comdeians like Chelsea Handler who are calling Tony Hinchcliffe a racist over his jokes at the Kevin Hart roast.
For the past two weeks, Hinchcliffe has found himself in hot water after he made a joke about George Floyd during the roast.
“The Black community is so proud of you,” he said. “Right now, George Floyd is looking up at us all laughing so hard he can’t breathe.”
Handler, who appeared on the roast, criticized Hinchcliffe and Shane Gillis for their off-color jokes.
“It’s just everything we know, that they’re racist, that they’re bigots, they’re sexist,” Handler said during an interview on the Funny Knowing You podcast.
“No. I mean, it was ick. It was gross.” She specifically called out a few jokes that Gillis and Hinchcliffe made during the Netflix special, with the first being Gillis’ joke about lynching. (“Kevin is so short, you’d have to lynch him from a bonsai tree,” he said during the episode.
“I don’t find those jokes to be funny,” Handler said. “Jokes about lynching Black people, lynching is not a joke. That’s worse than rape.”

During a recent episode of the JRE podcast, Rogan blasted Handler and other comics who have called Hinchcliffe and Gillis racists over their jokes at the roast.
“If you’re a person and you’re not accustomed to roasts and you don’t get why those jokes are so mean, I get it,” Rogan said. “But comedians that are getting upset about these roast jokes, f-ck all the way off. You f-cking traitor. You know what this is. You know exactly what this is.”
“You could disagree with the content,” he said. “You could say, ‘I think they went too far with this.’ But this pretending that these people are actual racists and Nazis just because they’re telling these jokes that are in a roast? Like, f-ck all the way off.”
