Joe Rogan is reacting to the backlash he received after visiting President Trump at the White House over the weekend.
A few weeks ago, Rogan went viral when he spoke out against Trump’s decision to attack Iran.
“It just seems so insane based on what he ran on. This is why many people feel betrayed. He ran on no more wars and these stupid, senseless wars. And then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it.”
Rogan went on to greet Trump at UFC event, and eventually visitied the White House for Trump’s signing of an executive order to fast-track research for certain psychedelic drugs used to treat mental health disorders.

Rogan said that he’s still “politically homeless” despite visiting the White House and that Trump mocked him for it.
“I am. [Trump] joked about it. He called me a liberal during the whole thing. [President Trump’s] like, ‘Joe, he’s very liberal!’”
Joe Rogan: “So, you saw that thing I had to do at the White House the other day?”
Luis J. Gomez: “I did see it. People are p*ssed.”
Joe Rogan: “Who’s p*ssed?”
Luis J. Gomez: “I don’t know, people online.”

Rogan also spoke about his interaction with Trump at UFC 327 in Miami.
“I texted him on Friday about ibogaine.”
“I told him about it, I said how effective it is and I said it’s been held up for so long.”
“And he said, what are you looking for? Are you looking for FDA approval? He goes, that sounds good to me. He said let’s do it!”
“So, literally he sees me at the UFC the next day, shakes my hand and says it’s done.”
“That’s what he saying and I said, thank you, sir.”
“It wasn’t like he was mad at me at all, it was the opposite.”
Joe Rogan reveals what President Trump said to him at UFC 327 in Miami — and it wasn’t at all what the internet rumors suggested.
It was actually the exact opposite.
