  • Kanye West has been using social media to chirp Pete Davidson and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in recent weeks.
  • One of the since-deleted posts was of private texts between he and his ex.
  • West has actually now apologized for his increasingly bizarre and “harassing” behavior.

After using Instagram to post text messages from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and to mock and vaguely threaten her new boyfriend Pete Davidson, Kanye West has now ditched the all-caps internet “screaming” to actually take “accountability for his actions.

“I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them. I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener,” the 44-year-old Donda rapper wrote on Instagram.

West had spent the past days and weeks making public statements about both Davidson and Kardashian. In a particularly strange string of Instagram posts, West took to the social media app to “put together the web” because there are a “group of people who run media and the election” and also implied that there’s a connection between Hillary Clinton, Pete Davidson, and Ellen Degeneres.

West has also vaguely threatened Davidson in his music. “This afternoon a hundred goons pullin’ up to SNL / When I pull up, it’s dead on arrival,” West raps on a new song titled “City of Gods,” which was released last Thursday. “God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” West rapped in the January song “Eazy.”
