For over a decade, there has been a conspiracy theory that comes and goes on the internet in which it is believed that singer Katy Perry is actually JonBenet Ramsey. Ramsey was found murdered in 1996 when she was six-years-old and the crime has never been solved.
Since no one was ever charged with the murder, numerous documentaries and internet sleuths have put forth theories about what actually happened at the Boulder, Colorado home of JonBenet Ramsey in 1996. One of those conspiracy theories, which recently made its way back to the forefront of the internet is that Ramsey never really was killed and that Katy Perry is the former child beauty queen.
Supposedly, JoneBenet’s parents, John and Patsy Ramsey somehow faked their daughter’s death in an effort to help her achieve some sort of fame. Many of the people who espouse this theory point to how much they believe, almost 30 years later, that Katy Perry’s facial features strongly match those of JonBenet Ramsey.
It is that way of thinking that recently went viral on the internet when someone using AI displayed what they claim is the transformation of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey’s face into 40-year-old Katy Perry. This despite the fact that JonBenet was found beaten and strangled in the basement of her parents home 29 years ago. (Note: 29 years ago would make Ramsey, who was born on August 6, 1990, 34-years-old now, not 40.)
Now, thanks to that AI-generated video, after all of these years of people speculating or outright claiming that Katy Perry is JonBenet Ramsey, the singer has finally acknowledged the conspiracy theory. “Wait, am I?” the Firework singer asked in response to the video.
“The fact that Katy Perry actually commented makes this even better,” one person commented after seeing Perry’s response.
“Favorite conspiracy theory EVER,” another wrote.
In addition to the longstanding JonBenet Ramsey conspiracy theory, Katy Perry has also been linked to others. In 2022, many people wondered if Perry isn’t actually some sort of android robot when she appeared to appeared to have a bit of a glitch during a performance at her Las Vegas Play residency. Perry addressed that craziness on Instagram as well.
