Kid Gets Flattened By A Bull In Training At A Florida Rodeo And The Crowd Goes Wild

The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo recently came through Arcadia, Florida. It is known as the ‘Granddaddy of ‘Em All’ and for 95 years this Central Florida rodeo has delighted fans.

One of the unorthodox events at the Arcadia Rodeo involves a lot of kids chasing a handful of bulls in training. There are close to 100 kids who enter the rodeo ring as three young bulls (bulls in training) are let loose and the object is to catch them.

My family was in attendance last week for the March Rodeo in Arcadia and witnessed this firsthand. They also had a front-row seat to one of the future rodeo bulls flattening a kid who was in the way.

I tweeted that video over the weekend and the first reply was ‘I’d love to see their insurance waiver.’ That really got me thinking.

My assumption was this is a ‘enter at your own risk’ even like the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain but I honestly have no idea.

The March Rodeo in Arcadia, Florida ran from March 9-12 and culminated on Sunday. There is a Fall Rodeo in Arcadia that will circle back most likely sometime next October.
