One of the few good things to come out of everyone, even famous people like athletes and actors, having to be stuck in self-isolation for weeks on end is that with so much free time and so little entertainment available, people are starting to lose it a little bit and definitely are more willing to try odd new things in an effort to amuse themselves.
Among those people, and those odd new things are Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his girlfriend Brittany Matthews, as well as Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook, who both tried, and failed at attempting something called the Koala Challenge.
The Koala Challenge is something that gained traction back in January to help raise money to help fight the awful wildfires that were ravaging Australia. It was initially performed by lying on a workout bench with your arms wrapped around it then slowly shifting yourself around so that you end up hanging from the underside of the bench.
This newer version of the Koala Challenge, however, is way more fun. It involves two people, preferably the one smaller than the other starting out on the front of the other person with their arms and legs wrapped around the other person. They then make their way all the way around the person back to the front where the next move is to climb up over the top of the person standing, go head down and through the legs of the person back up to the original starting position with their arms and legs wrapped around the front of the other person’s body.
It is very, very hard to do, as Patrick, Brittany, Kaley, and Karl found out this week.
And while they each may have failed in their attempts, both were laugh-out-loud funny.
First up, Patrick and Brittany, who allllllmost made it all the way through.

Saving the best for last, we have Kaley and Karl who struggled so much with Kaley laughing like crazy the entire time they had to split it up into two videos.
“First (of many) MEGA FAIL’s at #thekoalachallenge with my very patient husband @mrtankcook 🤣🤣 I’ve never laughed so hard. It’s a 2 parter so buckle up lol 🐨 please try this at home! Maybe wear a helmet . I now have 3 new injuries but it was worth it,” Cuoco wrote.
