The city of Philadelphia may just decide it’s never going to stop party. Philadelphians have been going nuts for the better part of 24 hours after the Philadelphia Phillies topped the San Diego Padres to reach the World Series.
Even Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller got in on the fun. Teller turned up at the city’s most famous pizza place on Sunday night to rip some celebratory shots.
And who could blame them?
The Phillies are on an improbable run after sneaking into the playoffs on the last weekend of the season. Since that point, Philly has upset the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves and now the Padres to make the fall classic. It’s the first World Series appearance for the club since 2009.
After ousting NL East rival and reigning World Series champs Atlanta in the NLDS, Bryce Harper a few teammates headed across the street to Xfinity Live to celebrate. Now it appears Kyle Schwarber has one-upped them all.
Kyle Schwarber Rides Mechanical Bull At Local Bar To Celebrate Phillies Making World Series
Xfinity Live is a complex just across the street from Citizens Bank Park that houses a number of restaurants and bars. It sits between the park, Lincoln Financial Field and the Wells Fargo Center and is a prime spot for fans without tickets to watch games or celebrate afterward.
One of the bars in the building is PBR Philly. As the name tends to indicate, it’s a rodeo-themed bar with the main attraction being a mechanical bull. Because drunk people and mechanicals bulls are never a bad idea.
Schwarber, who has shown he can be quite the partier, decided this was the perfect place to celebrate making the World Series.

Phillies fans were understandably worried about the dangers of Schwarber riding the bull.
Dear Kyle, can you please not do this until we win 4 more games? Regards, Dave Dombrowski https://t.co/GzhooORwzG

Good luck to the Houston Astros trying to compete with that.
