Las Vegas Hotel Catches Fire, Guests Evacuated On 4th Of July

Visitors staying at the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas faced an emergency situation this morning. On the 4th of July there were reports that the Cromwell had caught fire.

Videos began circulating online showing the hotel on fire and patrons being evacuated due to heavy smoke.

According to a report from News3LV, the fire originated from the parking garage and was put out.

Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Brian O’Neal said they dispatched crews for a fire in a storage room on the fourth floor of the garage.

Firefighters found the sprinklers had activated and kept the fire in check. They pulled hoselines from the engines to the garage to completely extinguish all the burning material.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
