Back in January, following the failure of her MTV reality series, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, 33-year-old Lindsay Lohan (She’s only 33-years-old?!! Whaaaaat?) semi-confirmed that she would be putting out her first new music since her 2005 album A Little More Personal (Raw).
LiLo, in a bit of absolute marketing genius, made this semi-confirmation in a comment on a random Lindsay Lohan fan Instagram account and revealed that her new album would be coming out at the end of February.
She reportedly had signed a deal with Casablanca Records – the same company she was contracted to in 2004 when she was 18 – to create new music and work “on some soundtracks,” according to Page Six.
Lohan also shared some footage and sound back in September of what is sure to be a chart-topping song for her called Xanax.
Shockingly, and very disappointingly, the end of February came and went and nope, no new album from LiLo.
HOWEVER! On Tuesday, we got some good news!
Lohan, who completely wiped her Instagram account, refers to herself on social media as an activist, actress, and artist, announced on her channels “I’m back” with a strange video filled with clips of her in past for what we assume is meant to hype her new music that is set to be released… sometime.
Reactions to Lohan’s announcement were, needless to say… mixed. Hilarious, but mixed.
