A drone pilot was surprised to see what he believes may be an image of the Loch Ness Monster two years after he shot the footage.

The video, taken by 54 year-old Richard Mavor, was shot while he was participating in the Great Glen Challenge.

According to Mavor, he didn’t see the Loch Ness Monster in the footage until viewers on his YouTube channel pointed it out to him.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he told the Daily Record. “I had to rewind the footage several times and have watched it several times since.

“I don’t know what it is but it certainly has the same shape as previous sightings of Nessie. The more I watch it I think ‘crikey!’ there really wasn’t anything in the area that could be.

“There was no driftwood or anything like that so who knows,” he continued. “I didn’t notice what I had picked up until others told me to watch out for it.

“It could be a trick of the light but we can’t be sure. We had just parked up and I thought I would get some nice shots on the beach for my YouTube.”

“Best video capture of Nessie I’ve seen so far, and its in HD. As others have mentioned looks like the plesiosaurus extinct millions of years ago,” one person commented on the original video.

A few weeks ago, a witness claimed to have recorded footage of the Loch Ness Monster’s offspring

A witness has come forward with new video of what he believes may be the offspring of the ever-elusive Loch Ness Monster.

“I kept zooming in and out of the video clip, and just as well because I got one of the strangest images I have ever got in Loch Ness,” Eoin O’Faodhagain said. “It’s this image of a half-circle hump, light grey in color with three uniform black spots. If I was looking up in the sky at it, I would have said it was a UFO, but I was looking at a webcam over part of Loch Ness.”

Take a look at that video here.
