Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens and rumored girlfriend of Aaron Rodgers, was spotted at MetLife Stadium over the weekend for Rodgers’ official Gang Green debut.
Making his first appearance in the green and white of the New York Jets, Rodgers started in the team’s final preseason matchup of the summer against the New York Giants. Edens shared some photos from the game on her Instagram story, according to the New York Post.
This certainly isn’t the first time that Rodgers has been linked to Edens, as reports detailing a relationship between the pair date back to when Rodgers was still in Green Bay.
In Saturday’s preseason game against the Giants, Rodgers played in just two offensive series. On those drives, the 39-year-old completed 5 of 8 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown pass to second-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who is expected to explode this season now that Rodgers is in town.
“I’ve made a lot of throws like that over the years, but he does a good job, late hands I think is important because the DB (defensive back) is just waiting for him to just put his hands up,” the four-time NFL MVP said of his touchdown pass to Wilson, his first in a Jets uniform.
“So, I think he probably had some good late hands, but he naturally creates a lot of separation, so he makes it pretty easy to throw to.”
With the 2023 preseason now in the books, Rodgers and the Jets will begin preparing for their Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, which is being featured as the first Monday Night Football game of the season. With just about two weeks remaining until kick-off, the Bills are currently favored over the Jets by 2.5 points.
Thanks to their acquisition of Rodgers back in April, the Jets are not only in a position to break their 13-year-long playoff drought but are also expected to be one of the main contenders for the Super Bowl.
