More details have emerged about popular wrestler Mandy Rose being released by WWE the day after suddenly dropping her NXT Women’s Championship amid explicit photo leaks.

As was reportedly earlier today, on Tuesday, after holding the NXT Women’s Championship for a whopping 413 days, Mandy Rose was unexpectedly defeated by Roxanne Perez in a creative move that most fans did not see coming.

Rose originally wasn’t even supposed to be defending her title against Perez until at least NXT New Year’s Evil in January or at Vengeance Day in February, but for their match got moved up to Tuesday night.

It turns out that adult content including explicit photos and videos that Mandy Rose has been sharing on her FanTime page were leaked on the internet, resulting in her being fired by WWE. (Read our previous report here.)

Fightful Select now reports “that WWE felt they were put in a position where they needed to release her due to what they considered the explicit nature of the content on her FanTime page. They considered this to be outside the parameters of her WWE contract. In following up, WWE sources indicated to Fightful that they felt like the content was not appropriate for one or more of their partner relationships, and that she didn’t seem interested in ceasing posting.”

On Mandy Rose’s FanTime page, which costs $40 a month, the now-former NXT Champion shares photos and videos which have been leaked on the internet. While this goes against FanTime policy it is not surprising that it occurred once nudity became involved.

The New York Post reports, “In recent days photos from her page in the shower with her fiancé, Tino Sabbatelli, that can be characterized somewhere between rated R and rated X began spreading on the internet.”

Rose, real name Amanda Rose Saccomano, has clearly been ramping of the raciness of the content she’s been sharing with her fans recently, not just on FanTime.

Some of her recent Instagram posts that look more like they were taken back in the Attitude Era also could have caused some concern for WWE execs.

The WWE has been battling with its talent since a 2020 edict from Vince McMahon about participating in utilizing platforms such as Twitch and Cameo without WWE approval and cooperation.

Combine that with the risque and in some cases nude photos and videos Mandy Rose has been sharing and the writing was apparently on the wall. Fans just didn’t know it.

Two weeks ago in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Rose revealed, “I do [think about life after wrestling]. Yeah, I always do. I mean, I’m 32, I’m not young, I mean I’m young but, you know, I wanna have kids one day, so it’s not like I’m gonna do this for, you know. And I would love to do it for however long I can do it, even after kids, you know, maybe. But I do try to think about that.”

Whether that had anything to do with her unwillingness to cease posting adult content on FanTime despite WWE’s reported requests remains unclear.

So far, Mandy Rose has not made any public comment about her very abrupt departure from WWE other than a thank you tweet she posted Tuesday night.
