Mario Lopez is being called out for an AI video of his niece that he shared
TV host Mario Lopez took his niece to a Los Angeles Dodgers game over the weekend. The former Saved by the Bell star picked perhaps the weirdest way to let people know about it.
On Sunday, Mario Lopez shared a 15-second-long AI-generated video of himself and his niece at a Dodgers game, showing her messily devouring two loaded hot dogs while mustard and relish spill across her face and shirt, as Lopez reacts with exaggerated expressions.
The Dodgers lost Sunday’s game to the red-hot Boston Red Sox by a score of 8-4.

“I can’t take my niece anywhere!” the caption of the post reads, with the AI-generated Lopez saying the same in the video.

Given the weirdly sexual nature of the post, the reactions to Lopez’s tweet were generally ones of confusion and disgust.
“Using AI to sexualize your niece is weird and disgusting,” one viral response said.
“Have you lost your damn mind?” a second asked.
“This is a contender for the weirdest tweet of all time,” a third added.
