A McDonald’s employee on TikTok has revealed several secret menu hacks, including ways to save money on your next order.
In a series of three TikTok videos that have received almost four million views combined, McDonald’s employee @noahfoundgrey shared numerous things she was unaware of before working at the fast food chain. Of note: she claims the notorious ice cream machines are not as broken as they are made out to be. She says most McDonald’s employees just don’t know how to use them.

Her second video, which has now been viewed over three million times, is where she really starts to blow McDonald’s customers minds with her tips.
She says you can get a fresh batch of French fries if you request them without any salt. That way you can get fresh fries “without asking for it and seeming annoying.”
She also disclosed a concept known as the “poor man’s Big Mac,” which will save customers a few pennies on their order.
“You’re going to order a McDouble with no ketchup or mustard, add Mac sauce, shredded lettuce, and you’re going to get a little, mini Big Mac for, like, half the price,” she explained.
Her third tip is what she calls the “multiple rewards hack,” which requires having multiple McDonald’s accounts. The employee claims that you will need to log in and out of the accounts to use discounts simultaneously.
She also added that at McDonald’s “a folded egg is a premade egg that we put on the sausage egg McMuffin, while a round egg is a fresh, cracked egg.”
In her third video sharing McDonald’s secrets, she explains the pre-recorded message customers always hear at the drive-thru before a real person actually speaks. It’s just something they all have to do. She also warns future McDonald’s employees about all the cameras in each restaurant, especially the one in the kitchen.
Then she hits upon the dehydrated onions that go on many of the sandwiches. “The little diced onions that you get on your Big Mac or McDoubles, they are actually onion flakes that the employees chop up really small and we use water to rehydrate it,” she revealed.
