Did I wake up today thinking I’d spend the first few minutes watching model rocks crash and burn? I certainly did not, but here we are.
I expected to hit play on this clip and move on with my life within a matter of seconds but I couldn’t hit that pause button, I didn’t want to. There’s something transfixing about this footage. It has some visceral je ne sais quoi that just seems right for the here and now.
This year’s been a total trainwreck. Why shouldn’t we get to kick back and relax for a few minutes whilst watching beautiful destruction set to calming classical music? I know absolutely diddly squat about model rockets but I have to assume this was an expensive video from BPS.space, the wasted fruits of their labor spanning the course of several years.
I think what I enjoy the most about this footage is that it’s about absolutely nothing. It’s just pure carnage. I need more of this in my life, mindless distractions to help pass the days.
