Morgan Wallen’s temperament issues have arisen once again. During a show in Pittsburgh for his “Still The Problem” tour — not the one that was abruptly canceled, though — Wallen took a fan’s phone and threw it across the stage for no apparent reason.
During the show at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Friday, June 5, a fan — who paid enough money for a ticket to be close to the stage — apparently handed her phone to a security guard to take a video for them. This, evidently, angered Morgan Wallen enough to take action.

Instead of doing something that a normal artist (or person, in general) would usually do like sing to the camera — or, at worst, simply ignore it — Wallen grabbed the phone from the guard’s hand and threw it across the stage.
Just a dude who loves his fans though.

This happened at country pop star Morgan Wallen’s concert Friday night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A fan handed her phone to a security guard. The security guard was standing with her face to the crowd and her back to the stage and was filming Morgan.

“Threw a fans’ phone across the stage? Yikes… There’s a word for that in English…” read one response.
“Truly the biggest c— and I can’t believe anyone likes him lol,” a second added.
“Why would anyone pay money to see this a-hole,” a third wondered.
“Morgan Wallen is a scumbag. Total loser, F this guy,” said a fourth.
“He’s beyond awful…. And this isn’t the first time THIS WEEK he threw something across the stage….”
“Everyone jumping on the security guard yeah sure she should be doing her job but what if that phone had cracked someone upside the head? This is not an appropriate way to handle the situation.”
This isn’t the first instance of Wallen’s petulance, both in general and on this specific tour. During a show in Denver at Empower Field, home of the Broncos, Wallen flipped over his piano due to apparent audio issues.

Overall, Wallen’s controversies date back to a 2016 DUI arrest (later dismissed) and a 2020 public intoxication bust after being thrown out of Kid Rock’s bar in Nashville.
In February 2021, a video surfaced of Wallen using a racial slur, which led to his label suspending his recording contract, his music being pulled from radio and streaming, and a very public apology tour.
Then in April 2024, he was arrested for throwing a chair off the rooftop of a Nashville bar — he pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor reckless endangerment and was sentenced to two years of probation.
