A prolific UFO researcher claims he spotted an object flying close to the International Space Station in a recent NASA video. He also claims that the UFO was large enough to have damaged the International Space Station if it had collided with it.
The mysterious, disc-shaped UFO appeared in footage of a SpaceX Dragon cargo ship approaching the International Space Station in October, the Daily Mail reports.
UFO Researcher Claims Object Came Within 82 Feet Of Space Station
Scott Waring, who runs the website UFO Sightings Daily, estimates the UFO was 23 feet across and passed within 82 feet of the International Space Station’s panels. He also said he was surprised that no one involved in the mission seemed to acknowledge the object.
“The crew on board the DragonX said nothing about it, not NASA control, not even the station itself,” he said.
Waring believes the footage also shows another UFO moving erratically around the Dragon spacecraft.
“Do you see how they’re moving very oddly?” he asked in a YouTube video describing the sighting. “Moving like no aircraft we’ve ever seen or spacecraft. It doesn’t conform to physics the way humans expect things to. The way it moves is bizarre.”
NASA, however, only reported a routine docking involving more than 6,300 pounds of supplies and scientific equipment. There was no mention of a UFO or any near collision.
Mysterious UFO Sightings Continue To Make Headlines
This UFO sighting around the International Space Station wasn’t the only unusual encounter to make headlines recently.
An airline passenger reportedly filmed a triangular UFO over Utah, while another triangular object was recorded near a volcano in Mexico. Both sightings are similar to others. Many people believe volcanoes are the homes of secret alien bases.
Several strange aircraft encounters with UFOs have also been reported recently.
Just this week, a British Airways jet carrying 256 passengers reportedly came within 50 feet of a mysterious object over England. Pilots flying over Ohio also recently photographed a strange, pill-shaped UFO they couldn’t identify.
As for the latest NASA footage, Waring admits he can’t prove the objects are alien spacecraft. That said, he still believes he captured something extraordinary on video.
“Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe this isn’t a UFO,” he said. “But for me, this just confirms that intelligent life is out there.”
