Back in early June, Netflix released its three-part docuseries about the life and career of Hollywood action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Not to inadvertently choose sides in the battle of iconic 80s action stars, though, Netflix has just released a trailer for a documentary about the equally beloved Sylvester Stallone.

Here is the official synopsis for Sly, courtesy of Netflix:

For nearly 50 years Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, from Rocky to Rambo to The Expendables. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.

The 76-year-old Stallone, of course, got his start in Hollywood when he famously bet on himself to get the Best Picture-winning Rocky made as he not only wrote the film but issued the studio an ultimatum saying that he had to portray the lead character or he walks. The Rocky franchise would then go on to spawn five additional direct sequels and three films in the Creed franchise, the most recent of which was released back in March.

Following Rocky, Stallone would go on to appear in projects such as Rambo (and its four sequels), Cobra, Tango and Cash, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, The Specialist, Cop Land, and The Expendables franchise, which will see its fourth film release later this year.
