What did everyone do before the internet and all of these streaming services? What did people do back in the day? Good thing we don’t have to worry about that because Netflix just released their list of what’s new for the month of February (as well as what will be leaving the service).
Some highlights of what’s new on Netflix in February include Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Tourist, Players and more.
• Avatar: The Last Airbender is a live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series following Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.
• When a man (Jamie Dornan) wakes up in the Australian outback with no memory, he must use a few clues to discover his identity before his past catches up with him in The Tourist.
• In Players, New York sportswriter Mack (Gina Rodriguez) has spent years devising successful hook-up “plays” with best friend Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.) and their crew. While it has led to countless one-night stands over the years, following their playbook comes with a strict set of ground rules — chief among them: you can’t build a relationship from a play.
• Raël: The Alien Prophet features interviews with his followers, critics and Raël himself, this docuseries traces how a UFO-inspired religion spiraled into a controversial cult.
