Pat McAfee is a dawg. There’s no question about that. He put down 30 Guinnesses during his live show in Ireland and that’s more beer than many mortal men consume in a week let alone in a single day. But Pat McAfee met a legend over the weekend and got smoked in a beer chugging contest.
That legend is the one and only Ronny Doitche who has amassed a large social media following for his beer chugging prowess. Most of his videos involve Ronny standing behind a table with a sign which reads “$100 to your $10 I can chug a beer faster than you, change my mind.” And Ronny hustles tailgates where people inevitably get SMOKED by him as all he needs to do is open his throat and pour the beer as if he was dumping it down a drain, it’s that fast.
McAfee was in Morgantown, West Virginia on Friday for a Pat McAfee Show live broadcast on the WVU campus and Ronny Doitche had the opportunity to meet Pat McAfee and challenge him to a beer chugging contest. Pat got smoked but that’s not an indictment on his chugging speed at all, there’s simply no one else out there that chugs as fast as Ronny:

I can’t help but love how Pat seems envious that Ronny is going to a frat party that night. At 37 years old, I’m not sure Pat is champing at the bit to rage at the SAE house but you can see a twinge of nostalgia in his eye.
