Paul Giamatti took home the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture on Sunday night and celebrated with a trip to In-N-Out.

The 56-year-old former Billions star and Academy Award-nominee was spotted at the famed burger chain’s Westwood location and went viral after a movie fan posted his picture on social media.

Giamatti was nominated and won for his role in Alexander Payne’s Christmas dramedy The Holdovers, which was one of the best-reviewed films of 2023.

In addition to Giamatti, Da’Vine Joy Randolph won the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture.

Alongside Randolph and Giamatti, The Holdovers — the second collaboration between Giamatti and Payne following 2004’s Sideways — also stars breakout performer Dominic Sessa (in his first-ever role), Carrie Preston, Brady Hepner, Ian Dolley, Jim Kaplan, Michael Provost, Andrew Garman, Naheem Garcia, Gillian Vigman, Tate Donovan and Darby Lily-Lee Stack.

The Holdovers wasn’t Giamatti’s only project in 2023 as he also starred as Christian Barbrow in the HBO series 30 Coins.

Over the course of his decades-long career, Giamatti has starred in films such as My Best Friend’s Wedding, Saving Private Ryan, Man on the Moon, Planet of the Apes, American Splendor, Cinderella Man, Win Win, Private Life, The Illusionist, Fred Claus, The Ides of March, 12 Years a Slave, Saving Mr. Banks, Love & Mercy, Straight Outta Compton, and many more.
