This Mind-Blowing Timelapse Of An Artist Painting On Water Will Be The Trippiest Part Of Your Day

I’ll be honest with you bros, I’ve watched this video three times now and I’m still not entirely sure what I’m seeing. I wish I could tell you all about Peacock Marbling, the style of painting that this artist is doing below, but I really can’t wrap my mind around what’s happening here. He is, painting on water?! This is sorcery, but it’s awesome sorcery. And this is probably going to be the best 65-seconds of your day because this is unlike anything else you’ll encounter today:

I grew up as the black sheep in a family full of artists. My grandfather was a bronze sculptor who apprenticed under Pablo Picasso in Italy (true story). My grandmother was an accomplished painter and she and grandpa were the first ever married couple to graduate from RISD. My aunts and uncles are working artists. My dad’s an accomplished wood sculptor. Meanwhile, I got a B- in ‘2D Art’ back in H.S. and gave it up after that.

What I’m getting at here is while I have no idea what ‘Peacock Marbling’ is I feel like this could be my calling in the world of art, mostly because nobody out there has a clue what Peacock Marbling is and you probably only need to be *average at best* at it in order to impress people
