People Apologize On Camera To Their Teachers For All The Horrible Things They Did Back In School

people apologize to teachers for being awful back in school

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week here in America. That’s a full week of leaving apples on the teacher’s desk. Showing up early to class and not being an asshole during roll call by giving the substitute teacher a fake name. All that stuff.

But being nice to your current teacher for one week doesn’t make up for an entire lifetime of being a complete pissant. I’m mostly talking about myself here. Up until H.S. when I finally took an interest in learning, I was probably one of the most obnoxious students around. Teachers couldn’t keep my attention talking about stuff like Tutankhamun and the Anabaptists and frankly, I wasn’t ready to be interested in that stuff back in middle school. I might’ve actually set a school record for getting kicked out of class in 8th grade. As it turns out, I’m not alone in having been an obnoxious student at some point in life.

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live they approached people on the street and asked them to look into the camera and apologize to their teachers for all of the terrible things they did while in school:

People are assholes. I was definitely one of those assholes. I apologize to all my elementary/middle school teachers out there for being the way I was.
