Phish Stream: How To Watch The 2022 New Year’s Eve Run At MSG

Phish at Madison Square Garden in New York City

Who else is ready to toast to 2023? I know I sure am.

If you’re a Phish fan, there’s only one place to be this week: New York City, where Phish will ring in the New Year at Madison Square Garden with a four-night run. There’s nothing in the world like Phish at MSG, where the band has played 68 times since their first show there on December 30th, 1994. The whole experience will blow your socks off. The room literally bounces when Phish plays there, that’s how much energy there is in that building.

Back in April of this past year, Phish turned The World’s Most Famous Arena into a massive aquarium during a jammed out version of the song “Waves.” Check out the video on YouTube. A flying blue whale and dolphins (ok, powered by drones) danced above the crowd, giving the ultimate trippy fish tank vibes (…and, if you know your Phishtory, you might see it as a theatrical nod to Phish’s 1993 NYE run, where the band performed in a stage with a fish tank build out).

If you can’t make it to NYC for the sold-out shows, you can tune in and watch a Phish stream at home on the couch via LivePhish.

Phish Live Stream – New Year’s 2022 at Madison Square Garden

Just as they’ve done in the past, LivePhish will broadcast a stream of the Phish shows on December 28, 29, 30, and 31st.

You can buy each Phish stream individually or together in a bundle at a discount price – details on how to buy here via LivePhish. Also, check out the streaming packages that include t-shirts! Who doesn’t love a little souvenir?

Options for the Phish stream from Madison Square Garden include 4K and HD. The HD stream starts at $29.99 a night (all four shows for $114.99). The 4k stream is $39.99 a night (all four shows for $149.99).

Buy it and tune in via Phish’s LivePhish portal.

The ticket time for Phish’s return to the Garden is 7:30 PM ET on each night, so look for the show to start a little bit after 8 PM ET. On New Year’s Eve, per tradition, the band will play three sets and start a little later. Hopefully Trey doesn’t get stuck in the sky this time – that was a bad omen the last time Phish played The Garden for NYE, back in 2019.

If you’re heading to the shows, rage it out for the rest of us who can’t make it! It’s the best time in the world.

And if you’re like me, just chillin’ on the couch and watching the Phish stream in your pajamas? Well, you have yourself a damn good time as well.

Just remember. Life has its ups and downs, strikes and gutters. But Phish always wins.
