Pitbull, aka ‘Mr. Worldwide,’ has just bagged a world record and made himself the face of Baldness everywhere in the process. During his performance at the BST Festival in London, Pitbull organized a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of human beings wearing bald caps ever assembled.

Pitbull has been bald for the entirety of his career. Long before he ever became famous he was bald and has been shaving his head long before he won his first Grammy.

The phenomenon of fans wearing bald caps to Pitbull concerts has been going on for several years now. It first started around 2021 when ‘Baldies,’ as they’re called, united in a Pitbull lookalike competition which quickly became a tradition at his concerts.

Flash forward five years and Pitbull was smiling ear to ear when he broke the Guinness World Record at the BST Festival in London for the single largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. In total, there were a confirmed 22, 141 people wearing bald caps for Pitbull’s performance.

Is this all a scheme from Big Bald™ to sell bald caps to normalize baldness? Perhaps. Approximately 85% of all men experience some measure of hair loss by the age of 50. 1/4 of dudes are on their way to going fully bald by the age of 21.

Perhaps Mr. Worldwide is just trying to normalize the ravages of time and lead men into a dignified life of balding they might be otherwise unprepared for.

Whatever the case may be, shout out to Miami’s own Pitbull for becoming the face of male baldness worldwide after setting this world record.
