Podcaster Bobbi Althoff recreated Sydney Sweeney's viral Novig ad

Sydney Sweeney isn’t the only blonde influencer that sports betting app Novig has linked up with. Podcaster Bobbi Althoff posted her own lo-fi version of Sweeney’s viral birthday suit ad on her Instagram account.

As is the case when she strips down her birthday suit — which has become quite often — Sydney Sweeney’s campaign with Novig has stirred up a bit of a controversy, with female athletes — and women, in general — criticizing the actress’ conduct.

Given that Althoff is nowhere near as famous as Sweeney, her version of the ad is unlikely to cause the same level of discourse. Still, it shows that Novig’s new campaign extends beyond just the former Euphoria star to all well-endowed famous blonde women.

“It’s giving, ‘We have Sydney Sweeney at home!'” reads the top comment on Althoff’s video.

“The campaign was about embracing a fun idea. The concept is simple: cut through the noise and put the focus entirely on sports. The campaign brings that idea to life with confidence, humor and a playful edge,” Sweeney said in a statement about the ad.

After a busy 2025 that saw her star in five different films — Echo Valley, Eden, Christy, The Housemaid, and Americana — Sweeney didn’t make any film appearances this year after her cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2 was cut. She did, however, reprise her starring role as Cassie Howard in the divisive final season of HBO’s Euphoria.

Sweeney will next be seen starring in films such as The Custom of the Country, The Housemaid’s Secret,  and Gundam, with the latter two scheduled to hit theaters next year. As for Althoff, she’ll likely continue to do whatever it is that she actually does to remain relevant.
