'Power Rangers' Star Jason David Frank Tragically Passes Away At 49

November 20, 2022, is a rough day for everyone, as tragic news hits. Jason David Frank, the well-known actor in the Power Rangers has tragically passed away at 49 years old.

According to TMZ, “the actor and mixed martial artist died in Texas, according to his rep Justine Hunt. Sources with direct knowledge tell us his death was the result of suicide.” This is incredibly terrible news and we just hope Frank’s family finds peace in this tragic time.

Jason David Frank was most known for his role as the White Ranger in Power Rangers. He was a star for many who grew up in the 90s. Additionally, Frank maintained his MMA training through the years, as he routinely displayed his training at events. Frank even competed professionally for two years.

On top of that, Frank reprised his role as Tommy Oliver in multiple adaptations. Starting out as the Green Ranger, his character eventually became the White Ranger. Being a fan favorite, many flocked to see him at conventions and events through the years.

Walter Jones, who played the Black Ranger, issued a statement about Jason David Frank’s death, per TMZ. “He was an inspiration to so many people. His presence will be dearly missed. It’s so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family.”

Additionally, Jason David Frank’s representative Justine Hunt asks for privacy for his family. “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”

RIP. The Power Rangers lost a good one today.
