Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee will star in the rom-com 'Honeymoon / Funeral' together

Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee have been confirmed to be starring in the rom-com Honeymoon / Funeral together after being spotted in London filming the project earlier this summer. Ferguson and Lee will be playing a lesbian couple in the film.

Directed by Nahnatchka Khan, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed Netflix romantic comedy Always Be My Maybe, Honeymoon/Funeral sees Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee star as two women who meet on a flight from Los Angeles to London — one heading to her solo honeymoon after being left at the altar by her girlfriend, the other flying home for her mother’s funeral — and end up spending the week together in London.

Ferguson and Lee have previous professional connections, as they both starred in Kathryn Bigelow’s 2025 film A House of Dynamite and have both recently been featured as Calvin Klein models.

“MRC is financing and overseeing production on the movie from director Nahnatchka Khan and screenwriter Julia Bicknell. FilmNation is launching sales ahead of the TIFF market. At this time, no release date for Honeymoon / Funeral has been announced as production remains underway in London.
