Director Rob Reiner and broadcast journalist Soledad O’Brien are releasing a new podcast that claims to unveil who actually killed President John F. Kennedy.

According to the 10-part podcast — which is titled Who Killed JFK? and claims to have “groundbreaking new evidence” from an interview with a former Secret Service agent — Lee Harvey Oswald, who was ultimately charged with JFK’s murder, did not act alone.

The podcast says that there was a conspiracy involving U.S. government agencies and officials, including the CIA, to have JFK killed and that President Lyndon B. Johnson had a role in covering up the truth. Furthermore, the podcast claims that those who have tried to expose the truth over the years have also been killed.

JFK, of course, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, ultimately becoming one of the most infamous days in American history.

“Sixty years ago President John F. Kennedy was gunned down in broad daylight on the streets of Dallas. To this day, it remains the greatest murder mystery in U.S. history,” Reiner said in a statement about the podcast.

“The American people deserve to know the truth of what happened on that fateful day. Who Killed JFK? will take the listener on an evidenced-based journey to reveal that truth.”

Reiner is a longtime filmmaker who has directed beloved movies such as This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, The Princess Pride, When Harry Met Sally…, Misery, and A Few Good Men. Reiner is also recognized by modern audiences for his role as Jordan Belfort’s father in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.

The podcast, distributed by iHeartMedia, premiered its first episode on Wednesday, November 8, and can be found on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms. New episodes will be released weekly.
