The chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling as Jackson Healy and Holland March in their beloved 2016 cult classic comedy The Nice Guys was palpable on the screen. Not only were their characters well-matched, but so were the actual actors playing them, as Crowe called his on-set relationship with Gosling one of the most “spectacular” of his career.
Speaking to BroBible’s Post Credit Podcast ahead of the release of his new film Unabomber, Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe recalled how his relationship with Gosling on the set of The Nice Guys was one of the most “spectacular” of his career.

“My day-to-day on-set relationship with Ryan Gosling was one of the most spectacular I’ve ever had,” Crowe told BroBible.
“I sort of famously on a film set — I don’t get affected by the noise on the other side of the camera. But for some reason, that kid can make me laugh at the drop of a hat. He just has a certain perspective that, to me, means that every day is like ice skating — I don’t know where we’re going to go; We’re going to have slipping and sliding everywhere.”
“If I do get the opportunity to be on a film set with him again, it’ll be a joyful day for sure.”
The Oscar-winning Crowe will next be seen starring as controversial Harvard psychology professor Henry Murray when Unabomber hits Netflix on September 25.
