Selena Gomez said vaping too much changed her voice
Selena Gomez’s admission that vaping nicotine has changed her voice isn’t going over well on social media. Numerous viral tweets have ripped the pop star for developing the addiction even after getting a kidney transplant.
In a post on her Instagram Story earlier this week, actress and singer Selena Gomez detailed her current experience of attempting to quit vaping. The former Wizards of Waverly Place star said that she vaped so much that it changed her voice.
Selena Gomez said in an Instagram video that she vaped so much nicotine that it changed her voice
“I’m not gonna be able to change my voice. I vaped nicotine a lot … Nicotine is so hard to quit, and I think I just wanted to say, if you’re going through it, or if you’re even trying to vape, it’s just not worth it. It’s so stupid, and it’s changed my voice,” Gomez on Instagram.
“I just hope that I can keep it up,” she continued about quitting vaping. “If you are going through something, you can get through it too. It sucks.”
Gomez’s post went viral on social media, with multiple viral tweets ripping the Only Murders in the Building star for her perceived selfishness.
“You actually gotta be a different level of a–hole to have your friend give you their kidney and still continue to smoke whilst disrespecting them publicly, tragic,” one viral tweet read.
francia really gave this girl her kidney and she continued to smoke… oh wow

The other side of the debate, however, argues that after an organ transplant has been completed, it’s the recipient’s to do what they please with it, even if it is detrimental.
The sixth season of Gomez’s hit Hulu comedy series, Only Murders in the Building, will premiere on the streaming service on Tuesday, December 8. Alongside Gomez, the latest season of Only Murders in the Building will also star Steve Martin, Martin Short, Meryl Streep, Tina Fey, Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan, and Martin Freeman.
