MMA fighter Lucero Acosta claims she earned $500,000 on OnlyFans after a wardrobe malfunction during her PFL debut loss went viral. That’s the good news.
The bad news is that while that wardrobe malfunction was taking place, Legacy Fighting Alliance veteran Acosta was being beaten to a bloody pulp by her opponent Shannon Clark.
Lucero Acosta was making her eagerly anticipated debut in the Professional Fighters League at PFL Chicago on Friday night when Clark pinned her to the mat during the live broadcast, and her top momentarily shifted, revealing her chest. Unaware of the wardrobe malfunction, Acosta then turned to her side for protection after pushing Clark out of side control.
Clark ended up landing numerous unprotected elbow shots to Acosta’s bloody face, and the fight was eventually stopped by referee Kevin MacDonald, resulting in a TKO loss for the Mexican flyweight.
“A wardrobe malfunction during a KO is rough,” one fight fan wrote on X.
Acosta fell to 6-3 in her MMA career with the loss, ending a four-fight winning streak, while Shannon Clark moved to 9-1.
Lucero Acosta says she made big money after the wardrobe malfunction
Despite the brutal defeat and the accompanying wardrobe malfunction, Lucero Acosta was not only unbothered but also said the “exposure” led to her making a whole lot of money from her second career as an OnlyFans model.
“Extra payment on @onlyfans because we showed our n—— during the @pflmma live,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s cute. Official sponsor.”
Acosta also reportedly implied that the extra money she gained on OnlyFans could amount to $500,000. She also shared the following video on her Instagram account.
“Despite having six years of not fighting in public and a year and a half of inactivity, facing a strong fighter,” she wrote in another post. “I feel so proud for doing so well. This is just getting started. I promise you, I will come back stronger and more hungry for Success.”
Going viral is nothing new for Acosta. She previously gained recognition online for training underwater in a bikini.
