Sexyy Red and her song ‘SkeeYee’ has a chokehold on society, and Penn State was the benefactor on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions hosted the Iowa Hawkeyes for their annual White Out game, which is one of the best traditions in college football, and more than 100,000 people converged on Beaver Stadium to create an electric atmosphere on a rainy night in State College.

Among those in attendance was Janae Nierah Wherry, better known as Sexyy Red.

The 25-year-old rapper first went viral back in 2018 after reworking Vanessa Carlton’s smash hit ‘A Thousand Miles’ into her track ‘Ah Thousand Jugs.’ Her career has only skyrocketed from there.

Sexyy Red is all the rage right now because of her song ‘SkeeYee.’ The St. Louis-native introduced the term to a wider audience in her most popular song and it has taken over the sports world over the last few weeks.

The Jets were vibing out to ‘SkeeYee’ during training camp and Sexyy Red even attended a game (she took a hilarious picture with Woody Johnson) after seeing New York get down in a clip from Hard Knocks.

Stefon Diggs gave Sexyy Red a shoutout after scoring a touchdown during Week 1.

George Pickens is also in the mix.

SkeeYee has not only integrated itself into the NFL. College football and college sports in general are equally as obsessed with the song. Its been a total takeover.

Thus, it was a big deal when Sexyy Red pulled up to Happy Valley.

Sexyy Red made her presence felt!

She even started twerking on the sideline during the game to promote her new song ‘Shake Yo Dreads.’ Head coach James Franklin probably loved that she took photos with recruits while in town.

Following the game, which Penn State won 31-0, the locker room was unbelievably lit. The celebration song of choice, of course, was SkeeYee.

Sexyy Red is on a remarkable run right now and it does not appear to be slowing down any time soon. Shake Yo Dreads dropped one day after her trip to Penn Sstate and SkeeYee is now part of the common lexicon. Turn up!
