Singer Sheryl Crow is not a fan of Elon Musk these days. On Friday, Crow revealed that she had sold her Tesla and is donating the money to NPR after Musk called to stop funding the news agency while leading the Department of Government Efficiency.
“My parents always said… you are who you hang out with. There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla.”
Crow bashed Musk for his treatment of NPR after Trump won the election and referred to him as “President Musk.”
“Money donated to @npr, which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth.”
Musk has previously criticized NPR, calling the publication a “left propaganda machine.”

Last week, Musk said he wanted NPR to be defunded in a tweet.
Defund NPR. It should survive on its own.
