Crazy Video Shows Special Ops Team Toss Stealth Boats Out Of C-17 Jet Before Jumping Themselves

You’ve seen paratroopers jump from planes, but have you ever seen boats launched from jets? The Pentagon shared a crazy video of Special Warfare Combat-craft Crewmen (SWCC) tossing a Combat Craft Assault (CCA) boat off a C-17 cargo jet. The video shows 11 SWCCs from Special Boat Team 20 launching stealth vessels out the back of the military plane before jumping out the jet themselves. PUBG and Fortnite have nothing on the badasses of the SWCC.

Utilizing the Low-Velocity Airdrop Delivery System (LVADS), the ships are pushed out of the C-17 Globemaster III heavy transport aircraft over water during a training session. SWCCs are part of the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Command and they specialize in clandestine infiltration and exfiltration of SEALs. Their speedboats are generally equipped with GAU-17 miniguns, M2HB .50 caliber heavy machine guns, M240B light machine guns, and even Mk 19 grenade launchers. The Combat Craft Assault is a 41-foot monohull open-water boat that has radar, infrared signature, and is known for their high-speed abilities. This is why the SWCC’s motto is “On time! On target! Never quit!”
