Fans Complain Grammy’s Sphere Performance Made Them Dizzy

The Sphere, a new music venue in Las Vegas that is truly an immersive experience, has taken the music world by storm since it opened on September 29, 2023.

The venue is billed as the next big frontier in live music. Instead of a concert stage, the Sphere is supposed indulge all of the senses that music could possibly indulge.

Currently, U2 is in residence at the Sphere, playing 40 shows between its opening and March 2nd.

During the Grammy’s, instead of a performance on the stage, they showed a performance from the Sphere by U2 of their hit, Atomic City, billing it as the first time that television cameras were inside the venue, which seats around 20,000.

All fine and good, right? U2 is a great band, cool to see them as the debut act at such an iconic venue. One big problem. A ton of people got dizzy from watching it.

I’m not going to lie, I’m still dizzy from watching this as I write this article. I kind of wanted to go to the Sphere to see a concert at some point. I’m not sure if that’s the case anymore.
