The first full trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse — the highly-anticipated sequel to 2018’s Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse — has finally been released.

According to the creative team, each of the six unique universes that are featured in the film will have its own distinct animation style, which makes the project even more visually ambitious than its predecessor.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, which hits theaters on June 2, stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman, Jason Schwartzman as the Spot, and Daniel Kaluuya as Hobart “Hobie” Brown / Spider-Punk.

As mentioned above, the film is a sequel to 2018’s Into the Spider-Verse, which won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. A third film in the franchise, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is also in development and is currently scheduled to be released on March 29, 2024.
