Somewhat breaking from their famed binge model, however, Netflix only released five episodes on November 22, which accounts for half of the first season.
The second batch of Squid Game: The Challenge episodes will release on November 29
According to Netflix, the second batch of Squid Game: The Challenge episodes — episodes 6, 7, 8, and 9 — will be released on Wednesday, November 29.
The season finale of Squid Game: The Challenge will begin streaming on December 6
Then, on Wednesday, December 6, Netflix will release the 10th and final episode of the first season of Squid Game: The Challenge, which will see one lucky winner take home the $4.56 million grand prize.

456 real players will enter the competition show in pursuit of a life-changing reward of USD $4.56 million. As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.
The premiere episode featured the instantly iconic “Red Light, Green Light” game from the scripted series. Later episodes will also feature games that were played in the hit Netflix drama, which released back in 2021.
The series is based on the massive 2021 South Korean drama Squid Game, which became one of the biggest shows in the history of television following its release largely thanks to organic word-of-mouth.
At the time of this writing, the first game of Squid Game remains the most-watched original program in the history of Netflix, beating out the likes of Wednesday, Stranger Things, Money Heist, and Bridgerton.
Filming of the second season of Squid Game began back in July 2023, which likely puts it on track to release next summer. Netflix, however, has yet to confirm its official release date.
The streamer has confirmed that cast members such as Lee Jung-Jae, Lee Byeong-Heon, Wi Ha-Joon, and Gong Yoo will all be returning.
