Steve-O has certainly cleaned up his act since hitting the well-documented low point he reached thanks to the drug issues that consumed him after Jackass thrust him into the spotlight, but he still hasn’t strayed far from the lifestyle that made him famous.
The 49-year-old endured plenty of brutal punishment when he reunited with the squad for Jackass Forever, and while Johnny Knoxville may have decided it was time to move on from that particular line of work after filming the movie, his co-star is still going strong.
Steve-O is currently doing a bit of traveling in conjunction with “The Bucket List Tour,” an over-the-top affair featuring stunts that were viewed as too gross and obscene to be featured on Jackass (which is pretty impressive when you consider the aforementioned movie featured a pretty gnarly gag involving a see-through ping pong paddle).
The most recent leg of that tour brought Steve-O back to the city where he was welcomed into the world, as he recently arrived in London for a string of shows that will see him travel around the United Kingdom before returning to where he was born to cap things off later this month.
According to TMZ, Steve-O channeled his inner tourist shortly after arriving in London.
On Thursday, he made the trek to the iconic Tower Bridge (which once served as the backdrop to a hilariously simple Jackass prank) before climbing up on the ledge of the structure with the Union Jack umbrella that didn’t do much to slow his descent when he leaped into the River Thames 28 feet below.
It didn’t take long for police to arrive on the scene and detain Steve-O, although he was ultimately released without any charges being filed.
That wasn’t the only stunt he pulled off while in London, as he also managed to climb atop a double-decker bus before jumping off of it and getting a pretty sweet picture in the process.
