Watch Sydney Sweeney Get Bitten By One Of Those Horrifying Humungous Australian Spiders

For whatever reason, the upcoming romantic comedy film Anyone But You felt the need to use a real huntsman spider while filming a scene for the movie. And both predictably and unfortunately, that spider wound up biting Sydney Sweeney.

Now, while we’ve all been bitten by a spider before, the huntsman spider — one of the many terrifying creatures that roam the plains of Australia — is one of those arachnids that are usually seen in nightmares and horror movies.

Luckily for us, though, Sweeney obviously turned out to be just fine and we get to see footage of the moment, which sees the 26-year-old actress understandably freak out.

Alongside Sweeney, Anyone But You also stars Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell. Additional cast members include Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths.

After Anyone But You, Sweeney will next be starring in the hilarious-looking (not intentionally) Sony Spider-Man Universe (real name of the franchise) movie Madame Web.

With Madame Web already looking like it’s going to be a disaster — someone called it “Morbius for women” — Sweeney certainly needs Anyone But You to be a hit if she’s going to continue her trajectory of becoming one of Hollywood’s top actresses.
