Sydney Sweeney was at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week to promote her upcoming rom-com Anyone But You and the 25-year-old Euphoria star went viral almost immediately.
Following recent reports that Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell’s girlfriend unfollowed her on Instagram, both Sweeney and Powell — who is known for his roles in the recent action movies Devotion and Top Gun: Maverick — have been trending on Twitter in recent days due to their flirty behavior, which is causing movie fans to debate whether or not its legitimate chemistry or just a promotional tactic.
That gossip amongst movie fans has grown to such an extent that TMZ published a report earlier this week to confirm that Sweeney is not dating Powell and is still engaged to fiancé Jonathan Davino, who is 13 years old than she is.

Anyone But You, which will be rated R and is directed by Easy A and Friends With Benefits filmmaker Will Gluck, is just one of many projects that the 25-year-old Sweeney has in the works.
In addition to the upcoming third season of HBO’s hit series Euphoria — which will reportedly feature a five-year time jump into the future — Sweeney also has Sony’s Dakota Johnson-starring Spider-Man spin-off Madame Web (she’ll be starring as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman), the critically-claimed HBO film Reality, the thriller Americana, and the horror movie Immaculate all in various stages of post-production.
Furthermore, Sweeney is also attached to projects such as Barbarella, Echo Valley (an original AppleTV+ film alongside Academy Award winner Julianne Moore), The Players Table, The Caretaker, and The Registration.
At this time, despite the recent announcement of the title and the virality of the Sweeney and Powell combo, Anyone But You does not have an official release date. Given that it recently wrapped filming, though, there’s a chance it could be ready for the holiday season.
