Have you ever wanted to try Mountain Dew Baja Blast in pie form?

Of course you haven’t. Because what kind of sicko even thinks about something like that?

Well, apparently the answer is the sickos at Taco Bell, who unveiled that, as well as several other strange new menu items at a reveal party in Las Vegas prior to Super Bowl 58.

The one-hour event was called “Live Más LIVE” and was live-streamed from Las Vegas as part of the festivities prior to the big game.

Chief food innovation officer Liz Matthews revealed the strange green pie in addition to milkshakes, Choco Taco-esque dessert, and a new variation of the crunchwrap.

“We keep chasing the ideas until we do something amazing,” Matthews said, before revealing “what’s going on behind the doors of the test kitchen.”

Taco Bell’s Bizarre New Menu Items Have Piqued Our Curiosity

So, what are those menu items?

Matthews revealed a triple-decker taco with a third shell of jack and cheddar cheese. She introduced a partnership with Beekeeper Coffee on a horchata latte, as well as a partnership with Salt & Straw for the Choco Taco like combination of a chimichanga and a chalupa. Taco Bell will also introduce elote queso, the aforementioned Baja Blast pie and cinnamon twists dusted with Baja Blast flavor.

Now, I’ll be honest with you. It has been several years since I have been a stoned college student goindon’t want tg to town on a cravings box.

So some of that stuff, the Baja Blast items especially, sound kind of gross!

But I’ll be darned if I do want to try that Choco-Taco and the elote queso.

Both of those sound fantastic.

But what about that crunchwrap I mentioned?

Chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery announced a crunchwrap that will be stuffed with a giant Cheez-It. The cracker will be 16 times the size of a regular Cheez-It.

Oh, and Taco Bell will have chicken nuggets now!

The company announced nuggets with “all white meat marinated in jalapeño buttermilk.” Those will come with with two sauces, a “signature Bell Sauce” and jalapeño honey mustard.

College kids rejoice. Taco Bell is upping its game in a big, big way.
