Taylor Rooks has been in Cannes all week hosting something called Sport Beach at Cannes Lions 2023.
The 31-year-old sports journalist and presenter nearly broke the internet while in France as she shared a selfie of her and Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry that was apparently taken following an intimate dinner on her Instagram account.
“This night and our dinner will eternally be close to my heart,” Rooks captioned the slideshow post on Instagram.

In addition to Berry, Rooks also showed off more of her famous friends by sharing an Instagram story of her and rapper Jack Harlow walking through Cannes.
Berry, 56 years old, is best known for breaking ground back in the year 20001 when she became the first woman of color to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in Monster’s Ball.
In recent years, Berry has transitioned into making action films as she’s starred in projects such as Kingsman: The Golden Circle, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Bruised, and Moonfall, and upcoming movies such as The Mothership and Our Man from Jersey (which co-stars Mark Wahlberg).
As for Rooks, she’s spent the last few years rocketing up to the top of the sports media industry, as she now has roles with both Turner Sports for the NBA and Amazon Prime Video for the NFL, and also hangs out with celebrities such as Berry, Harlow, Drake, Saquon Barkley, and many more.
