A video of Taylor Rooks at a red carpet event went viral earlier this week after some on social media believed that the bombshell sports reporter suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
The video, which was taken at the 2024 GQ Global Creativity Awards, was shared all over social media, with one particular video on Twitter racking up over 50,000 likes and almost 20 million views.

Both seizing on and having fun with the opportunity, Rooks took to the podcast that she recently began hosting with fellow sports media personality Joy Taylor to address the situation, making clear that people did not see what they thought they saw.
“I saw somebody say, ‘I can’t believe she’s show her breasts, I thought she was classy,'” Rooks began.
“Number one, you are incorrect: you haven’t seen them and you won’t ever. But number two, how interesting and confining it is that if a woman did decide to take a fashion risk and bare that, that she would automatically and immediately go from being what you consider classy to just not being classy off of one personal choice on one night,” she continued.
“It’s a very fickle, dense, and lazy idea that we have of women and how much power we give their bodies, that we believe the choices that women make symbolize something about them, as opposed to that just being what they wanted to do that day.”
The pair also gave a fashion to their unaware listeners/viewers, explaining that Rooks was wearing what are known as, among other things, “pasties.”
