NFL World Is Concerned What Lengths Brittany Mahomes Might Go To Trying To Reclaim Spotlight From Taylor Swift

For perhaps the first time in her life, Brittany Mahomes wasn’t the most recognizable significant other of a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, as pop star Taylor Swift stole all of the headlines thanks to her appearance at Sunday’s game.

Since Brittany Mahomes has spent years finding ways to make headlines about herself, NFL fans immediately started joking about how she might be reacting to all the attention being on Swift, who is rumored to be dating tight end Travis Kelce.

It’s got to be tough for Patrick Mahomes — who is so universally well-liked — to see his wife so thoroughly and routinely dunked on virtually every Fall, even when she actually *isn’t* doing anything to bring attention to herself.

Brittany Mahomes wasn’t alone, though, as Patrick’s problematic brother Jackson also caught some stray shots in the crossfire of the NFL world wrapping their head around Swift showing up for the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.

The road to Swift showing up at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday has been a long one, as Kelce began publicly flirting with her earlier this Summer when he told a story about attending one of her Eras Tour concerts.

Then, a couple of weeks ago, rumors began to swirl that the pair had been hanging out, which the Kelce brothers then used to (wisely) create a mine of content for their own podcast and appearances on other shows programs such as The Pat McAfee Show.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how regularly Swift will appear at Kelce’s games, especially since her behemoth Eras Tour is taking a break until November.

This weekend, the Chiefs are headed to the Big Apple to take on the New York Jets for Sunday Night Football, which is sort of the PR opportunity that a world-famous pop star who has a concert film set to hit theaters in a few weeks would usually pounce at.
